Another technique taught is the INDIRECT METHOD (upside down on paper) in which the pupils glue the 'Tesserae' face down on paper. During the Master they create a mosaic (30 X 30 cm approximately) in roman mosaic with polychrome marble, with the method direct on provisional putty. They create a Byzantine glass mosaic (same measurements) with the Direct Method. The two mosaics become property of the students.
