Stained glass and mirror mosaic tiles   Stained Glass and Mirror Mosaic Tiles: Art glass is glass in sheets, usually handmade and handrolled, that is used most often for stained glass work and tiffany glass work. Art glass can give a mosaicist a creative freedom that most other types of material just can't offer. Since the material comes in larger sheets, you can cut your tiles to any size or shape you wish, so the tesserae shape and size become another significant element in your creative pallet. You need the right tools, but when you have them, this glass can be worked with great precision into specific shapes, curves, circles, geometric patterns. The stained glass we carry is all Spectrum brand stained glass, handrolled and imported from the USA. Our mirror glass we make ourselves, sourcing extraodinary quality glass from all over the world, and silvering it for fantastic reflective effects with both colour and texture. We offer coloured mirror and stained glass for mosaic in a variety of formats, from 20x20cm sheets to a variety of tile sizes to rods and even precut 'crazy paving tiles. We can also provide full sheets of glass (circa 150x60cm), but transport on this is very tricky, so we recommend a minimum of 20-30 sheets per order to merit the crating and shipping costs that are added.
